IMAGES of Weaving

Images of woven Art Works

Images showing works of art depicting weavers, weaving etc. were not easy to find. Images showing works of art using the craft of weaving or incorporating weaving, were also infrequent. Those I found easily are those everybody finds. But in every country and culture there must be appreciation and celebration of the weavers' craft not only by weavers themselves but also by other artists. I found very few 'new' works of art depicting weavers and weaving. If you know of any websites where I might find more such works of art, paintings, sculptures, artistic clothing, cloth and fabrics, or if you come across techniques that produce beautiful work, if you find objects or looms that are unusual, symbols to do with this craft, images of stamps, money, anything 'visual' at all - - your hints will be appreciated! Please share this with us by writing me an e-mail (see the email form in the weaver's shed), and I'll put the images in this list if at all possible. Thank you.

I hope you enjoy seeing the ones I found so far.
